Frequently Asked Questions

 

When do travel agents nominate and vote for their favourite suppliers?

Travel agents can nominate from 1st September to 12th October 2016, nominations close at midnight. 

The list of nominated companies will be announced on 10th November 2016 in the Globes Voting Supplement issued with the Travel Weekly magazine.  Travel agents can vote from 10th November to 7th December 2016, votes close at 5pm.  

Winners will be announced at the ceremony on 12th January 2017.

 

What are the timings for the evening?

18:15   Drinks reception
19:00   Awards ceremony and dinner 
23:30   Late night bar and entertainment
02:00   Carriages 

Please note the timings are subject to slight alteration 

 

What is the dress code?

Black tie.

 

When will I receive my invitations?

Your invitations will be sent to you at the begining of January, in order for you to send onto your confirmed guests.

 

When will I find out if my company has won?

Winners will be announced at the Globe Travel Awards ceremony on 12th January 2017 at the Grosvenor House, London.

 

Who do I notify if one of my guests has special dietary requirements?

Please indicate these on your dietary request form which you will receive via email mid December and must be sent directly to the venue. All requests must be received by the Grosvenor House at least 48 hours prior to the event, otherwise charges will apply and guests’ requirements may not be taken care of. 

 

How do I book tickets for the event?

Simply click on the tab 'Book Now' button on this website and complete the online form.  Payment can be either via invoice to be settled by cheque or BACS or there is a credit card payment option.  If credit card payment is the preferred payment option it must be selected at the time of booking, it cannot be arranged once the booking has been made.  The invoice option will not be available one month prior to the event.
